I came across this very interesting article this morning on the BBC News website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19440255.
In short it is about how technology, online & automatic candidate evaluations, etc. is starting to become a integral part of the recruitment process. This does not mean that human contact and evaluation will become null & void, but automatic technology based filtering is becoming more apparent in the first line candidate evaluation and filtering.
Note the section talking about the importance of key words in CV's as this will assist you to get you CV past the "robots" and into the hand of a recruiter.
